“When I thought I couldn’t go on, I forced myself to keep going. My success is based on persistence, not luck.”
Estee Lauder (1906-2004, Entrepreneur)
When I first started looking for work at a young age, I remember the advice I got from a leader in my life. His advice was to “be persistent.” If the company hiring notices your persistence, they will value it. And even if they don’t hire you, that tenacity will keep you driving forward. Persistence keeps your momentum and momentum will take you further.
Approach your life with energy! Don’t intend on slowing down or letting something stop you. Plan to continuously drive forward, and yes things will get in the way, but use those blocks to spring off of as you continue to drive for success. There will be times that you may need to tweak your approach or aim…but whatever you do, don’t stop!
